Serving as a key visual communicator between large university departments and individual students, I translated institutional messaging into clear, engaging content. As both a student and designer, I brought an insider perspective that allowed me to communicate more authentically with my peers, using design as a tool to support their growth and connection to the university.

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. COMMITTEE FINALIST
Graphic Design Team Member
Jan 2025–March 2025
Worked with the ASU Martin Luther King Jr. Committee on a design team to develop campaign themes. “Live the Lesson” was conceptualized to represent the teachings of Dr. King. This campaign features a board game as the central visual. Every other space on the game board represents a core value that Dr. King exemplified—such as respect, teamwork, understanding, and peace. The journey through the game mirrors the journey we take in life: learning, growing, and applying these lessons in our everyday interactions. Our vision for this campaign is that as players advance through the game, they will encounter meaningful acts of kindness and reflection, challenges like helping a neighbor, practicing empathy, or expressing gratitude.
While working within a budget, we created collateral to represent this concept. We then created and gave a series of presentations to the committee, receiving refinements and revisions to create their vision.
